The Zika virus is currently not a threat in any holiday destination in Europe. The risk of infection to travellers and holiday-makers in Europe is estimated to be very small in summer 2016. Hence there is no reason to advise travel restrictions to these holiday destinations. The local situation in European holiday destinations is being closely monitored, and this advice will be modified if any risk of infection becomes known.
